Not sure how more clear this can be:
During the Israel-Gaza war, The New York Times reported incessantly about how Israel was causing civilian deaths (despite the fact that reporters have now acknowledged that Hamas was using hospitals, schools, and even UN ambulances to store, shoot and transport weapons).
Two days ago, the U.S. announced that it doesn't need to prevent civilian casualties in Syria.
So, what does The New York Times report?
So, according to The New York Times, it's okay for Obama to kill Muslim women and children from 7,000 miles away, but Israel can't protect itself from its neighbors, even when U.S. Generals acknowledge how careful Israel has been.
Wow. That's some classy reporting.
